Look below for words and rhyme...bottled up in verse and time.... take none to heart and all is fine.
Poetry has allways kept a soft place in my heart. Through tales of Romance, Chivalry, and Adventure I have found myself alone in a world of knuckledraggers and bitter crones who would rather watch Reality TV than experience any sort of emotional or intellectual stimulation. Saddened by this truth, it is difficult to lift the pen when you are fairly sure no-on will ever read what you set down in ink.
Or perhaps this is merely a blessing in disguise: is their not a certain freedom in Anonymity? Imagine what one could say with no fear of ridicule.
Today is a day for patience.
Farther back along the way I found a miracle, where two roads would meet and hold each other’s hand.
One must be forever young you see; and it shows within in her eyes
Beyond this glassy blue reflection, spilling forth from out of ragged distance,
Be not afraid, my mirage can lead you home... beneath the weight of foreign skies.
