Comments: Aside from being a wonderful place to grab a Mocha without supporting Starbucks, Monarch Mountain has plenty baked goods and gifts from local businesses. They roast their own beans to produce their signature brand of coffee that we recomend taking home with you. Located right next to the post office in Downtown Sandpoint.

Comments: Definately a favorite for all things baked, this place has been in business for years, serving up the tastiest pastries and breads around. Stop in for a hot cup of coffee and get ready for your day.

Breakfast Croissant Sandwiches, by F.C. Weskils: I first tried these in early winter of '06 and was pleasantly surprised. These little tummy-fillers are a perfect hold-me-over for the hungry morning pedestrian. Expect a crispy Croissant containing cheese, meat, or other savory ingredients such as Chipotle Peppers & Portabello Mushrooms. This is a mix of both classic and exotic flavors that fill keep you going in the early hours. Give them a shot!
